X | Xue Gao
Xue received her master degree of landscape architecture from Rhode Island School of Design in 2020, and her bachelor of landscape architecture from Southeast University, Nanjing, China in 2018. She believes the innovation of design lies in multidisciplinary exploration and research. In her practice, she has a special interest in adapt games, technologies and digital media into landscape design. Besides, she also values the power of public engagement in urban development and design.
Y | Yi Lu
It all begins with an idea. Yi launched her interests in Architecture. She graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a Master of Architecture. While her undergrad major was Civil Engineering. She believes interdisciplinary studies create juicier designs. She has creative thoughts to share with the world which related to green buildings, senior housing, and urban planning. Feminist Architecture is another topic she engages with.
Z | Huacheng Zhang
Huachen received his master's degree in landscape architecture at Rhode Island School of Design. Before that, he also attended University of California, Berkeley summer session course called Design and Innovation for Sustainable Cities (DISC) in 2017. His interesting fields include small scale construction details, to large-scale landscape ecology. Through RISD education, he believes that “To develop a complete mind: Study the science of art; Study the art of science. Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else.”
